Practice schedules are determined by your coach. Practices must be held within the Temple/Belton ISD limits, with no Sunday practices allowed. PK/K Division can practice for 30 minutes a week, and 1st-6th Grade can practice up to two 1-hour sessions per week.
Games are held on Saturdays at Freedom Park in West Temple. Younger divisions play earlier, and older divisions play later in the day.
Teams are formed through a Player Draft, following Player Assessments. Players who attend the assessment will be drafted first, while those who miss it will be assigned randomly at the end of the draft.
323 Youth allows siblings or step-siblings to be drafted together, but cousins and friends cannot. All players not protected as a coach's child must enter the Player Draft.
Yes, 323 Youth has a 50% play-time policy, ensuring that all players are on the field for at least half of each game.
There can be up to 2 coaches per team. The coach’s children will be protected for their team and will use 1 draft pick per child.
All of the Coaches are volunteers. Each Volunteer Coach must go through a Background Screening. Each Coach is also provided a Rulebook and is required to attend a pre-season meeting to review the proper 323 Youth procedures and expectations.
If a regular season game is canceled due to inclement weather, we will make every effort to reschedule the game. The makeup game will typically be scheduled for either a Friday evening or Saturday after the completion of our normally scheduled games.
In the event of a playoff game cancellation due to inclement weather, the higher-seeded team will automatically advance. Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule playoff games.
If all playoff games are canceled, the #1 seeded team in each division, based on regular season standings, will be declared the division champion.
323 Youth does not grant any special requests.
